An anonymized string created from your email address (hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify its use. After your comment’s approval, your profile picture is public within the context of your comment.
Media:
You should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) as visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.
Cookies:
If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t need to re-enter your details for future comments. These cookies last one year.
Temporary cookies are set when you visit our login page to verify your browser’s cookie acceptance. These contain no personal data and are discarded once you close your browser.
Upon logging in, we set up several cookies to remember your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days, and screen choice cookies last a year. Opting for “Remember Me” keeps your login for two weeks, but logging out removes these cookies.

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely to recognize and auto-approve subsequent comments without holding them for moderation.
For registered users, we store the personal information they provide in their profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their details anytime (except username changes). Website administrators can also access and modify this information.
